This St. Patrick’s Day marks a year since the coronavirus brought a halt to gatherings and events. It has been a tough year for many, but thanks to Zoom we have been able to virtually meet and share our Irish Culture.
With the roll out of the vaccines and the promise of warmer weather we are hopeful that we are starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel. While most of the festivities for this St. Patrick’s day have been canceled or greatly scaled back planning for upcoming events is underway.
The Wilmington Parade Committee has announced that they are planning to hold a halfway to St. Patrick’s Day parade on Saturday September 18th. More Details Here
The Wake AOH has also started planning for this year’s Irish Fest in the Forest and have scheduled this years festival for Saturday, September 25th. More Details Here
