Wilmington 2021 Half Way to St. Patrick’s Day Parade

In an abundance of caution, paired with a desire to return to our normal way of life, The Wilmington 2021 St. Patrick’s Day Parade has been scheduled for Saturday, September 18, 2021.

The parade committee has secured approval from the City of Wilmington to plan and provide the Cape Fear region with a traditional St Patrick’s Day Parade six months late. We Irish are far from punctual but do enjoy a grand celebration. The customary post parade Irish Festival, sponsored by Cool Wilmington, will immediately follow the conclusion of the parade.

Parade Participant Applications will be emailed out in July. We anticipate that the entry fee will remain at $25, the parade route will be the same as the 2019 parade, and our start time will be 11 AM.
